Having mastered the art of parenting Kate and I felt it was time to increase our little clan and have another bambino. So on the 22nd July 2014 at 3:43am Ivy Joyce Walsh came into the world or "popped out" as Fergus likes to describe the birthing process. Yes this post is rather late in announcing the news but it’s taken me this long to adjust to our expanded family.
After almost nine whole months of waiting our first baby, Fergus Christopher Walsh, was born on Thursday the fifth of January at 9:57am in the Whittington Hospital Birth Centre weighing in at a healthy seven pounds and six ounces.
We've seen a lot happen to the world in 2011 but nothing quite as exciting or important as the events going on in the world of iamdanwalsh.com.
I had the great pleasure of meeting my first niece yesterday afternoon. Yes, I'm now uncle to the wriggling bundle of joy that is Sophie Olivia Rose Walsh.
Seeing as Kate is now at about twenty-four weeks into pregnancy I thought it was about time to update you all with our rapid progress towards parenthood.
If you haven't heard the good news already then brace yourself because Kate and I are having a baby! Walsh Junior is currently around fourteen weeks old, eight centimeters from crown to rump (head to bum if you're a layman like me) and growing at rate that would put most competitive eaters to shame.
